251 AC - As a sworn sword of House Stark, Jon marries a 16 year old blacksmith’s daughter named Palla, who is barren. They wed without the blacksmith’s permission, and they flee the North from Lord Stark’s punishment. Infatuated with knights and chivalry, his new wife travels with him to tournaments.

With it he stops a rout in the opening battle of the war, winning his lordship from Aegon V. Jon is given the moorlands to rule over. During the war Jon makes friends with a mountain clansman named Hagar the Wild.
While in Dorne, Jon’s wife is killed at an inn. He brings her remains to his new lands. Her grave is the first structure in his holdfast.
Looking to form his first alliance between a noble house, Jon remarries quickly. His wife is Lady Sharra from House Arryn of Gulltown. She is 21 yrs old. Knowing Jon’s proximity to Riverrun, the Arryns of Gulltown hope to use the marriage as the next best thing as an alliance to the Tullys.

265 AC - The moorlands prosper under Jon’s leadership. Sheep herds turn a large profit from cheese, wool, and mutton. Blackhorn is still under construction, and is not much more than a hall and a tower at this time.
266 AC - Jon has his second son, Merik. To celebrate, Jon adds a defensive wall around his hall. He can barely cover the enormous expense, so to compensate he uses cheap building materials.
267 AC - Alanna is born an only child to a small northern house of no importance.
275 AC - Septon Vickon joins Blackhorn.
277 AC - Jon, 45, is killed in a dual with a sellsword who insulted his first wife. Nolan, 20, becomes Lord of Blackhorn and inherits the valyrian weapon.

284 AC - Jonah is born.
287 AC - Nolan’s second son, Kellin, is born. The Moorlands decline over the next decade.

Maester Gwyn dies and is replaced by Maester Rudolphus.
297 AC - Tourney for Prince Joffrey’s 12th Name Day and the events of Peril at Kings Landing. Maester Rudolphus is executed for treason and sorcery. Merik comes in 2nd place in the tournament. Orten Lugus reveals Adham Dannett was behind Moorshead’s decline over the last decade, and tries to frame House Moorshead for retributively poisoning Adham. Merik kills Naton Lugus in a trial by combat to prove his house’s innocence.
